Barge Deck Reinstated in Less Than Three Days at OMC1
Our client has successfully completed their topsides installation, and the transportation barge has been demobilized from the offshore site.
Last week at Offshore Marine Centre 1 (OMC1) in Singapore, we removed a large quantity of grillage and seafastening from the barge and reinstated its main deck in less than three days, to the full satisfaction of the barge owner. This ensured a smooth off-hire of the barge.
Our thanks go to everyone involved in this fast-track job and to the OMC team for their great support.

Three Vessels Mobilized at OMC2 in One Busy Week
It was a very busy week for the ProC team at Offshore Marine Centre 2 (OMC2), where two deck carriers, Jian Yang Cheng He and Feng Hai Da, and the offshore construction vessel Hua Xiang Long arrived for project mobilization. This was Hua Xiang Long’s second visit to OMC2 in two months. More than 20 parties worked closely together on simultaneous operations to meet the offshore project schedule.
Our scope covered cargo loading, discharge and transfer, seafastening removal and installation, NDT, load testing, equipment assembly, pre-commissioning and testing, supply of materials, equipment and provisions, bunkering and various inspections. All three vessels departed OMC2 on time, as planned.
Thanks to everyone involved. We wish our client a successful offshore campaign and look forward to welcoming the vessels back to OMC2 for demobilization.
